XII International Roma Caravan Memorial
The Gypsy caravans will set of from the Ethnography Museum in Tarnów on July 21st. Their destination will be the sites in Tarnów region where many Roma people have been slain during the World War II.
Several exhibitions relating to Romani Culture will be held during the event. They will be presented by the Communal Center of Culture in Żabno, the Communal Center of Culture in Szczurowa and the Gallery at the camping site.
The event will start on the July 21st (Thursday) with the departure of the Caravan at 10 a.m. It will be back in Tarnów on July 24th (Sunday). On Saturday, July 23rd at noon, the Roma Genocide Memorial will be unveiled.

21.07 (Thursday) Commencment of the Caravan at the Ethnography Museum at 10 a.m. Departure by bus from Tarnów (Goldhammera St.). Stop: Żabno: Commemorative ceremony at the grave of the murdered Roma. Opening of the exhibition in Communal Center of Culture in Żabno 2 p.m. Arrival at the camping site in Szczurowa Park at 5 p.m. In the evening: a prayer at the grave of Romani victims in Szczurowa. Opening of the exhibition The Małopolska Trail of Roma Genocide at the camping site).
22.07 (Friday): After breakfast: departure of the Caravan to Bielcza: commemorative ceremony at the site of mass execution at Biedacz and at the mass grave at the cemetery in Bielcza.
23.07 (Saturday) After breakfast: Caravan departs to Borzęcin; commemorative ceremony at the grave of the Roma. Ceremonial unveiling of the Roma Genocide Memorial. In the forest near Borzęcin at 12.00. In the evening, at the camping site – a concert of the Roma music by Romanian band Romano Vodźi (Romani Soul) and a performance Romano jiło (Romani Heart) by Catherine Andrault from France.
