In Głobikowa, next to “Rozdzielnia wiatrów” hostel and 20-meter-high viewing tower (where one can observe Tatra Mountains during good visibility) a “JuraPark” is being constructed. Two dinosaurs have already been put in place: roaring and illuminated diplodocus (weight: 4 tons, dimensions: 15m long, 5m tall, 6m wide) and triceratops (dimensions: 5m long, 2m high). Whereas in another place in Dębica county – Pustków Osiedle (14 km north from Dębica) one can see a replica of pteranodon, the largest flying predator in the history of the Earth, which stands nearby Commune Culture Center.
There is an intention of building a mammoth path, where models of these animals would be placed. Mammoths’ bones were frequently found during excavations.
Another place worth seeing in Głobikowa is “Tomaszówka” park. This object was a property of Obażewski family and was listed on national monument list in the 19th century. This is a naturalistic, national scenic area having a few hundred years old ash tree and alley of oaks, which are considered natural monuments.
