The new science and technology center provides information on the most important discoveries, inventions and their authors, in the past and now related to Tarnów, in various ways. There are five professionally equipped laboratories, referring to the figures of the famous inhabitants of Tarnów: Astronomical to Fr. Michał Heller, hi-tech to Jan Studniarski, technical to Jan Szczepanik, natural and chemical to Karol Olszewski, and general development to Aniela Piszowa.
These studios are located on the second floor, while the first floor is a historic interior filled with specially designed exhibits – there are over 20 of them – requiring interaction. This is the main exhibition space, consisting of five rooms. There you can, among others see the future Tarnów through binoculars, jump into a bottomless well or check your knowledge of chemistry.
For the creators of the Discovery Passage, it is important that visitors participate in the discovery process, and that children and teenagers can benefit from specially prepared programs combining fun with learning.
